The Gathering for Justice joins United We Dream in Calling on Biden Administration to Apologize to Immigrant Communities

 Last week, the President of the United States stood in front of the world, and during his State of the Union address, resorted to dehumanizing and callous language as he discussed his immigration policies. 

The Gathering for Justice is proud to join dozens of human rights advocates calling on President Biden to issue an apology to the undocumented community for fostering dangerous and erroneous narratives that do nothing to better the lives of immigrants or Americans and, in fact, only create worse and worsening conditions at our nation’s borders.

A copy of the letter we signed onto is below.  We urge you to join us by calling and messaging President Biden and letting him know we will never turn our backs on our undocumented neighbors and communities. They deserve dignity and respect.
