The Gathering for Justice is proud to announce our 3rd Annual MLK Unity Summit and CommUNITY Basketball Game, taking place on Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Oxnard, California

This intergenerational event, held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, will bring together hundreds of young people, families, and community leaders for a weekend of inspiration, connection, and empowerment.

Youth Summit: Empowering the Next Generation

• Dynamic Speakers: Engaging and inspiring changemakers will share stories and insights to motivate the next wave of leaders.

• Healing and Visioning Workshops: Guided sessions to promote mental health, resilience, and collective visioning for the future.

• Performances and Music: Uplifting performances by local artists, spoken word poets, and youth talent showcasing creativity and cultural pride.

• Mural Painting: A collaborative art project symbolizing unity, empowerment, and hope for justice.

• Food Trucks: Enjoy diverse cuisines while connecting with other attendees in a relaxed, community-centered atmosphere.
